Navajo Pottery Series

This mini series is a collection of Navajo pottery designs with nature growing from within. While drawing, I focused on simplicity, linework, and varying line weights because tattoo designs look most readable and age over time if these elements are present in the design. Pottery is the theme because I have a love for houseplants, and I am heavily inspired by my Navajo ancestors artforms and visions. Native American inspired tattoos are almost always done by non-natives, so I intend to create and share authentic Navajo designs with the world of tattooing.
