My fourth flash sheet in the series is somewhat of a reminder to myself. One of the reasons art is so important to me is because it helps me synthesize knowledge and remember important wisdom I’ve gathered. The person in the center is an unintentional self portrait, but represents a person contemplating their ego’s place in time and space. The bonsai represents my nature, which is mindful, patient, contemplative, spontaneous, and chaotically methodical. The planets are something I draw a lot because I often daydream about realities beyond Earth. The key represents how ideas and realizations can unlock greater potential within us, and the overgrown cigarette box is a testament to old bad habits I’ve ditched through self reflection and redirection.
