Central Consciousness

This mural was a turning point in my journey as an artist. I pursued this solo endeavor with the support of my art teacher while I was a senior in high school. She approached me with the opportunity of painting a mural for the schools new STEAM lab on campus, and I learned so much about the process of public muralism with project. I learned how to draft sketches, perform a formal proposal to administration, and paint large scale artwork for public display. This project was my first mural project and helped me realize my potential as an emerging professional artist.
