Universe, You-niverse, One-niverse

This painting began with a post-card. I found a post card at a small bookstore in Durango, CO which depicted a homestead in the style of pointillism. I glued this postcard onto a canvas and began to expand the scenery, mimicking the pointillism style while also incorporating my own style including optical illusion patterns and imagery intended to invoke introspection. I loved the exploration of technique in this piece.
